The Path to a Better Web3 - Part 2

In our last article, we explored AI and blockchain-powered industries, highlighting potential benefits when the right technology drives their growth. In today’s piece we’ll use the same lens to look at Real World Assets (RWA), Stablecoins, and blockchain/crypto broadly.
Will each of these grow to be a significant part of our lives? And how will we get there?
Real World Assets (RWAs)
The Promise
Real World Assets include real estate, art, equities, bonds, commodities and various kinds of debt.
Estimates vary greatly on the coming market size of Real World Assets. They range from $16 trillion by 2030 (Boston Consulting Group and ADDX), to $30.1 trillion by 2034 (Standard Charter) to Coinbase’s estimate of $2 trillion to $30 trillion over the next five years (they left plenty of wiggle room). Industries will only embrace RWA tokenization if the associated risks are substantially minimized, and the activity around RWAs isn’t subject to scanning, stealing, front-running, or public knowledge of everyone’s every move with RWAs and the assets they represent.
The Promise Fulfilled by IronWeave
In today’s world of assets, businesses require privacy for ownership and transactions. The evolving regulatory landscape for RWAs will require solutions that can ensure the same level of compliance while also preserving privacy. Transparent blockchains (those that put data in the clear, which are scannable and provide no privacy) fail to balance these two requirements. Until both privacy and compliance are in place, there will be limited institutional adoption.
The Promise With IronWeave
The tokenization and management of Real World Assets (RWAs) need IronWeave's privacy features to gain the traction which those analysts believe they can achieve.
In an IronWeave-powered world, real-world assets (RWAs) like real estate, commodities, and fine art will be securely tokenized, managed, and traded—without exposing sensitive ownership details. Institutions and individuals use privacy-focused platforms to tokenize assets, ensuring that while transactions remain verifiable and compliant, proprietary data stays confidential and protected. IronWeave's compliance-ready architecture can facilitate the on-chain management of RWAs while adhering to necessary regulations, as KYC and AML checks can be integrated at the transaction or participant level.
With IronWeave’s architecture, ownership records and asset details are stored on-chain with granular privacy controls, allowing only authorized parties to access critical information. Tokenized assets can be transferred, sold, or fractionalized on secure marketplaces, enabling seamless and private transactions without the risk of data leaks or unauthorized tracking. This ensures that bad actors cannot determine asset ownership, misuse that information, or harm owners of that data.
As the market for RWAs grows, the demand for secure, private, and regulatory-ready infrastructure will only increase. IronWeave ensures trust, liquidity, and efficiency, making tokenized assets a frictionless, scalable reality for global investors and institutions
Stablecoins
The Promise
Stablecoin usage has had strong growth recently. By the end of 2024, stablecoin market capitalization reached an all time high of over $200 billion. (Coindesk) Projections for 2025 are between $400 Billion (Bitwise Asset Management) and $500 Billion (Bernstein Research) Both Coinbase Analysis and Bernstein Research estimate that the market cap for stable coins will reach $3 Trillion within five years.
The Promise Without IronWeave
As with the business sectors covered earlier and in last week’s article, greater adoption depends on meeting the need for privacy, security, integration with traditional finance rails, and meeting regulatory compliance requirements.
Today’s stablecoin activity settles to scannable public blockchains, providing transparency. Some people believe this is good, but do you… if it’s your payments and your transactions that everyone/anyone can scan? Your activity is in the clear for anyone to act upon, for good or bad. And those scannable public blockchains are available… forever, to scan again and again.
The Promise Fulfilled by IronWeave
IronWeave's privacy-preserving environment could be a significant advantage for stablecoin issuers and users.
On IronWeave stablecoins can reach mainstream adoption by integrating effortlessly with traditional finance while preserving user control and financial confidentiality. Only IronWeave delivers the infrastructure for this future, bridging stablecoins with banks, businesses, and global economies—securely, privately, and at scale.
With IronWeave as the underlying infrastructure, stablecoins become attractive on two fronts — they offer fast, cost-effective transactions along with built-in privacy and security. Users can now acquire stablecoins through exchanges or authorized channels and store them in privacy-focused wallets, ensuring that their financial activities remain protected from surveillance and unauthorized tracking.
Using IronWeave’s architecture, stablecoin transactions are instant, private, and low-cost, enabling seamless payments, remittances, and DeFi interactions without exposing financial histories. Whether transferring funds, settling invoices, or using stablecoins for daily commerce, users enjoy the confidence of tamper-proof, auditable transactions—without sacrificing their privacy.
Blockchain/Crypto
The Promise
In 2024 cross border payments were estimated (FXCintelligence) to be $194 trillion. By 2032 they are forecast to reach $232 trillion. If payments were made with stablecoins the payments would be near instantaneous, and potentially much less expensive. This fast and inexpensive transition for cross border payments is just one of the many use cases for blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
The Promise Without IronWeave
Blockchains are not privacy-enabled. The lack of inherent privacy on these public blockchains remains a significant barrier to broader adoption, especially for institutions and enterprise use cases involving sensitive data. Building truly private decentralized applications (dApps) on existing transparent smart contract platforms is complex and often requires compromises. The lack of scalable solutions is another barrier to significant growth and adoption.
The Promise Fulfilled by IronWeave
Imagine a blockchain and crypto world where privacy is the default, transactions are instant and secure, and businesses can finally trust decentralized systems with their most sensitive operations. In an IronWeave-powered Web3, users no longer worry about their financial data being exposed or their digital assets being compromised. Whether making payments, managing investments, or interacting with decentralized applications, they experience seamless, private, and scalable transactions—without sacrificing security or compliance.
For businesses, IronWeave removes the long-standing barriers that have kept enterprises from fully embracing blockchain. Enterprises can use any modern programming language to interact with IronWeave, leveraging and integrating with their existing developers, IT staff, and systems. Institutions can tokenize real-world assets with confidence, execute private and auditable smart contracts, and integrate blockchain into their existing operations without friction. Financial services, healthcare, logistics, and government entities can now leverage decentralized infrastructure while maintaining the control, privacy, and regulatory alignment they require.
With IronWeave, Web3 finally delivers on its promise: a trustworthy, scalable, and efficient digital economy where individuals and organizations operate with certainty. The blockchain world is no longer a tradeoff between transparency and privacy, speed and security, innovation and compliance. It’s all possible—decentralized, seamless, and built for the future.
In sum, IronWeave's secure, privacy-enabled data model has the potential to be a transformative infrastructure for these developing business sectors by addressing key challenges related to data security, privacy, compliance, and scalability that are currently hindering their growth and broader adoption.
IronWeave can - and will - power the future of the scalable and privacy-enabled Internet, and that Internet will be a better place.
